About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help design and implement the product architecture
Collaborate with team members to rebuild the application using TypeScript
Design and ship AI features including prompts, evals, tool use, and agent flows
Own meaningful slices of the product end-to-end, making decisions, shipping work, and evaluating results
Work closely with the leadership team and legal experts
Rebuild an AI-driven legal product from the ground up
Make the application fully customisable and content-driven to streamline legal client intake and case preparation
Integrate advanced AI features to enhance product intelligence and user experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years building and shipping full-stack web products in production
Track record of accomplishments, solving hard problems, and shipping products
Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web development frameworks
Strong data modelling skills and experience designing schemas for real users and changing requirements
A CS or engineering degree, or equivalent depth gained through building things
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into a product, including prompts, evals, tool use, or agent flows
Experience with greenfield projects or early-stage teams is advantageous
Exposure to legal tech, SaaS products, or early-stage tech teams is advantageous
Interest in machine learning and building new AI models is advantageous
Ability to communicate concisely in speech and writing and collaborate openly and positively
Motivation to make a real difference through work
Pragmatic approach to balancing quality and velocity
Curiosity and desire to seek deeper understanding and better solutions
