About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead planning, purchasing, and inventory management for externally manufactured and packaged finished goods.
Ensure inventory availability, supply continuity, and alignment with commercial demand forecasts.
Develop and provide monthly forecasts for external manufacturing and packaging partners.
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for APIs, finished goods, raw materials, and packaging components.
Collaborate with Commercial Operations to review demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and business requirements.
Support new product launches, technology transfers, and external manufacturing transitions.
Coordinate the monthly S&OP process and planning calendar.
Consolidate demand, supply, inventory, and financial inputs into a unified business plan.
Develop inventory, capacity, and supply scenarios for executive decision-making.
Facilitate cross-functional planning reviews and governance meetings.
Prepare executive presentations and decision-support materials.
Monitor planning KPIs and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
Support inventory management and working capital optimization initiatives.
Align operational and business assumptions with Commercial and Finance teams.
Communicate inventory-related risks, constraints, trade-offs, and opportunities.
Develop inventory recommendations balancing customer service, growth objectives, and working capital performance.
Track S&OP actions, decisions, and commitments.
Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, reporting capabilities, and business planning maturity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, demand planning, or business planning.
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Strong analytical, modeling, and scenario planning capabilities.
Experience supporting executive decision-making processes.
Understanding of inventory management and supply planning principles.
Experience working in cross-functional business environments.
Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
