About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary project team
- Translate programme-level strategy into project outcomes
- Manage team resources, performance and output
- Develop collaborative relationships with Anglian Water stakeholders and supply chain partners
- Manage the full project lifecycle from enabling and construction through handover, sign-off and post-handover warranty issues
- Comply with governance requirements and support Senior PM governance boards
- Maintain accurate cost forecasts and mitigate or report cost variances
- Manage scheme-level risk and change, escalating as required
- Ensure projects are accurately planned and updated in P6 and SAP
- Lead peer and constructability reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and consistent health and safety standards
- Maintain a zero-accident culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- HNC/HND or degree qualified in Civil / MEICA / Construction Management
- SMSTS qualification
- Relevant CSCS card
- Previous experience managing multidisciplinary projects including Civils and MEICA, preferably in the water sector
- Experience leading and delivering large-scale water infrastructure or linear projects
- Experience leading multi-contractor, multi-disciplined teams
- Experience in stakeholder management with customers, clients, site operators, landowners, utility companies and statutory authorities
- Ability to deliver against tight budgets through programme development, risk and opportunity management, production and innovation
- Computer competence in MS Word, Excel, document control systems and Primavera software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
