About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a wide range of financial tasks and processes for Costello Medical’s North American financial function
  • Process supplier invoices, credit card transactions, and internal expenses
  • Perform bookkeeping across group companies using AIQ, Rapport3, and Concur
  • Support financial reporting and data reconciliation activities
  • Advise scientific teams on expense management and invoicing procedures
  • Identify and suggest improvements to financial and administrative systems
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
  • Reduce the administrative burden placed on others
  • Receive comprehensive one-on-one training on technical responsibilities and project management
  • Participate in telephone and office interviews, including a collaborative assessment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A relevant educational background or at least one year of experience working in a finance-related role
  • Experience supporting ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Excellent numerical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to plan and manage own workload, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
  • Interest in and aptitude for mastering new systems and internal processes
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Practical experience using Rapport3 and AccountsIQ platforms is desired
  • Understanding of other financial systems is desired
  • Right to work in the US independently from the company; temporary visa holders such as OPT may be considered
  • Resume and cover letter required; cover letter must explain suitability and interest with supporting examples
