About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support creative projects for healthcare-sector clients from initial concept development through full production
  • Contribute to graphic design projects including scientific posters, infographics, leave pieces, marketing assets, and other materials
  • Support motion and digital teams with interactive exhibition materials, animations, and eLearning modules when opportunities arise
  • Collaborate with experienced Creative team members
  • Complete training and gain hands-on design experience in the healthcare sector
  • Participate in the recruitment assessment and portfolio review process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent graduate or current student able to complete a full-time internship over holidays or as part of a degree placement
  • Degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline, minimum or expected 2.1
  • Candidates in their second year of study or later are welcome
  • Highly innovative portfolio
  • Excellent technical skills in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proven experience developing and delivering creative concepts
  • Clear understanding of layout design principles
  • Strong understanding of aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Specific interest in applying graphic design skills to the healthcare sector
  • Right to work in the UK independently; visa sponsorship is not available
  • CV, cover letter, and PDF or online portfolio required for application
