About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build data pipelines in the cloud leveraging Python, Spark, and SQL in a Databricks platform
Help build data and analytics proofs of concept in Databricks
Perform ad-hoc data analysis of various data sources, including project management data from Jira and other sources
Assist with documenting data quality checks, access controls, and data governance protocols
Help establish a process for documenting data assets to make them more discoverable
Work with experienced Data Engineers within the Artificial Intelligence team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently in your junior or senior year studying toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Engineering
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Interest in collaborating on a large team with other data science practitioners on innovative projects
Conceptual understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, either from your degree or self-learning
Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area
Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
