About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Counsel and advise the Illinois Farm Bureau and affiliated companies on legal matters
- Provide legal services involving independent planning, research, investigation, legal advice development, and corporate-material review
- Advise on corporate governance, general corporate matters, regulation and compliance, commercial transactions, employment, and litigation
- Concentrate in one or more legal practice areas

Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
- Licensed to practice law in the United States
- Ability to obtain bar admittance in Illinois (full or in-house) within a year
- Current with continuing legal education requirements set by applicable licensing body
