Key responsibilities & impact

Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision makers
Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risk, and profits of new initiatives
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns
Prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations, including charts, dashboards, and heat maps
Design and produce actionable reports defining, building, and visualizing KPIs
Display root cause analysis and identify areas of improvement
Synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations
Apply visualization, storytelling, and prescriptive insights to data
Design, develop, test, and launch new data products and dashboards into production
Work with data across Commercial, Farm, and Crop lines of business

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
Experience with SQL, Python, and Tableau, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply these technologies
Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, technical teams, and other stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while contributing effectively within a team
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, data sources, and areas of the business
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and consistency
Ability to understand business processes and connect business needs to available data
Preferred: Experience gathering, clarifying, and translating business requirements into analytical or reporting solutions
Preferred: Strong communication skills with the ability to present data, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred: Experience developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, or other data products that enable informed decision-making
