About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop application-centric, API-led integrations on Azure
Support public cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Establish patterns, standards, and best practices for Azure-native integrations
Design, develop, and support integrations using Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps
Build, publish, and manage APIs using Azure API Management
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns using HTTP, REST, messaging, and event-driven approaches
Develop integration solutions aligned with application-centric and API-led architecture principles
Collaborate with BAW, Informatica, and MuleSoft developers on hybrid integration solutions
Translate existing BAW, MuleSoft, or Informatica patterns into Azure-native equivalents where appropriate
Partner with Integration CoE, Enterprise Architecture, and Security teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies
Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and platform evaluations
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for integrations
Support Git-based CI/CD pipelines for integration assets
Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects and performance issues
Produce and maintain technical documentation and integration runbooks
Gather business and technical requirements to design solutions
Develop high-performing software solutions meeting technical standards
Support testing, problem solving, and debugging
Implement software solutions following best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
5+ years of experience in enterprise integration or middleware development
3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services
Experience with Azure Functions, including HTTP-triggered and Service Bus-triggered functions
Familiarity with Durable Functions for stateful orchestration
Experience with Azure Logic Apps
Experience with Azure API Management
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and service-based integrations
Working knowledge of OAuth2, managed identities, and certificates
Working knowledge of Azure secure best practices, including Private Endpoints and Service Endpoints
Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation concepts
Familiarity with Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hub
Experience working in medium to large enterprise environments
Experience with Bicep IaC
Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Dynatrace
Preferred: experience modernizing or migrating integrations to Azure native platforms
Preferred: knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
Preferred: experience supporting insurance or financial services environments
Preferred: familiarity with OWASP, NIST, and CIS secure coding standards
