About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a fully integrated team member on strategy development and implementation as well as portfolio development
- Develop improvement proposals in collaboration with business units and functional departments
- Support the financial evaluation of growth initiatives, efficiency measures, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) cases
- Gain insights into the strategic management of a globally operating chemicals company
- Learn the consulting toolkit, from analysis and concept development through to communicating proposed solutions to top management
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least in the fifth semester of a bachelor's degree, taking a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree, or enrolled in a master's program in business administration, economics, natural sciences, engineering, or psychology
- Initial relevant experience in industry or consulting
- International experience through internships or a semester abroad is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent English language skills
- German language skills at least at B2 level are an advantage
- Internship duration of at least four months
- Current certificate of enrollment
- Information on whether the internship is mandatory or voluntary
- For mandatory internships, a copy of the relevant section of the degree program regulations is preferred
- Current grade transcript / Transcript of Records
- Applicants from non-EU countries require a valid residence and work permit authorizing them to complete an internship in Germany
