About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare shows, including format-related, lifestyle-culture, and local content
- Write and post web and social media content
- Write and deliver commercial or personal endorsement content
- Host regular assigned air shifts
- Work closely with the program director to develop relatable content, execute the format, and deliver ratings goals
- Operate the control board, including editing phone bits, interviews, and other audio
- Participate in remotes and appearances at station or life group functions as assigned
- Work with sales and promotions to maximize revenue opportunities, including promotions and personal endorsements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent English speaking and writing skills
- Minimum 1 year of on-air experience
- Strong on-air presence
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of success in ratings and revenue
- Experience operating all on-air and production equipment
- Experience with audio software editing products such as Adobe Audition
- Computer skills for audio delivery and automation systems such as Wide Orbit, word processing, audio editing, and web/social media
- Availability as needed, including nights and weekends
- Social media savvy and able to execute a PPM-friendly, engaging radio show for Miami, Florida
- TOP 40 / AC radio format experience preferred
