About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and analyze Governmental and Commercial/Managed Care reimbursement
- Prepare financial reporting related to reimbursement
- Assist with cost reporting to government payors
- Provide patient and financial reporting and analysis for leaders, staff, and consultants
- Train new staff on procedures and concepts
- Create, implement, and optimize stakeholder reporting
- Coordinate projects across multiple departments and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare, or a related field or 8 years related experience
- Preferred: Demonstrated experience with healthcare or insurance financial analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Ability to inform and educate others, including training new staff
- Ability to write effective summary-level documentation
- Ability to create, implement, and optimize stakeholder reporting
- Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office
- Highly proficient in Excel, including creating, modifying, and troubleshooting spreadsheets for data analytics
- Strong analytical skills for complex data and provider reimbursement analysis
- Ability to work independently, coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status, and make independent decisions
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years related experience as an alternative educational pathway
