About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process requests to update matter and client information
- Process requests to close files
- Set up split file information in the finance system
- Monitor notifications for newly opened matters daily
- Audit e-bill submissions, matter maintenance, and other billing-related processes daily
- Process time transfer requests
- Complete new vendor form requests and set up new e-bill websites
- Assist billers with simple billing, narrative edits, and invoice recapping
- Assist the billing department with ad hoc requests and projects
- Work alongside Billing Coordinators to maintain accurate firm databases for efficient client billing
- Report directly to the Billing Assurance Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aderant experience and a law firm background are preferred but not required
- Excellent written, oral and reading communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Professional judgment
- Strong attention to detail
- Transparency
- Great interpersonal skills
