About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, and maintain modern software solutions across the frontend and backend
Implement business requirements from analysis and design through implementation and testing to production release
Contribute across the entire software lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Develop modular, scalable, and maintainable software architectures
Integrate modules and databases and perform developer and integration testing
Conduct code reviews, bug fixing, quality assurance, and test automation
Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams
Contribute to sprint planning, effort estimation, and the continuous improvement of team collaboration
Support the operation and further development of existing applications and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field; vocational training as an IT specialist; or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in software development as a Full-Stack Developer
Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring Boot / Jakarta EE, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, and database development
Experience with microservices architectures
Experience working with complex data structures
Knowledge of test automation and software quality assurance
Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
Experience with application internationalization (e.g., ngx-translate) is a plus
Knowledge of test management and test automation tools is a plus
Experience with container or cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift) is a plus
Experience in the banking sector or with regulatory requirements in the financial industry is a plus
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
Process-oriented mindset
Team player with enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Willingness to learn and a strong commitment to quality
German: C1/C2 level
English: B2 level
