Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current vocational qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related discipline (Certificate, Diploma, Degree or higher)
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education
  • Current industry experience in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary practices, legislative requirements and quality standards
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective training and tutorials in face-to-face, online and/or blended learning environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a student-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
  • Satisfactory pre-employment checks, which may include a National Police Check and/or Working with Children Check where applicable
  • May be required to demonstrate that they meet “fit and proper person” criteria under applicable legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Must hold full rights to work in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available
