About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver carbon, waste and environmental reduction projects
  • Drive sustainability improvements across manufacturing operations
  • Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems
  • Conduct internal audits and support environmental compliance
  • Own sustainability data, KPIs and reporting
  • Work with Procurement on responsible sourcing and supplier assessments
  • Partner with R&D to embed sustainability into new projects
  • Engage teams across UK and international operations to drive change
  • Take ownership of sustainability projects from planning through delivery and measure results
  • Initially work site-based, moving to hybrid working once established

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Manufacturing background is essential
  • Practical, delivery-focused sustainability professional
  • Comfortable working on the ground and engaging with operational teams
  • Experience across environmental management, carbon reduction, ISO systems, sustainability reporting and responsible sourcing would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to work across UK and international operations
