About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, storage, databases, recovery vaults, key vaults, and networks
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Azure infrastructure
- Collaborate with development, operations, and cyber teams on application hosting and integration
- Migrate client data and workloads securely to Azure
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments and respond to incidents
- Contribute to automation and orchestration of cloud operations
- Troubleshoot and set up SQL Server IaaS and PaaS
- Enroll VMs and SQL databases in Backup Center and troubleshoot backups
- Support Azure Site Recovery and disaster recovery planning
- Analyze Azure costs and identify savings opportunities
- Administer Windows Server and troubleshoot event logs
- Provide after-hours PagerDuty support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- English language fluency required
- Proficiency with Azure infrastructure, services, and administration
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code
- Experience with Terraform is essential
- Experience with SQL Server IaaS and PaaS is a plus
- Ability to manage cloud deployments securely and efficiently
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated experience with cloud migration projects is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant Azure Administrator certification is highly desired
- Ability to provide after-hours PagerDuty support within a rotation
