About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage a team of Sales Representatives to meet departmental and individual quotas
  • Qualify and educate prospects about CRC Benefits solutions based on their needs
  • Document and report all sales activity
  • Communicate the progress and concerns of potential and existing customers to the sales team daily/weekly
  • Communicate concerns and questions to the Market Director
  • Provide continuous training to Sales Representatives
  • Assist Sales Representatives with broker questions
  • Work closely with marketing to maintain an understanding of the evolving market
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5-7 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of group health insurance products, preferably attained through working in an insurance marketing or selling role
  • Health and Life Insurance license required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange
  • Proficient with web browsers
  • Extensive knowledge of sales techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external personnel
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret moderately complex documents, including sales, underwriting, and Company guidelines
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and provide positive customer service
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems to assist agents/brokers in presenting solutions to prospective clients
  • Ability to determine when situations need to be escalated
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to work occasional long, irregular hours
  • Physical ability to sit, frequently speak and hear, occasionally stand, walk, bend, crawl, and kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • English language fluency required
