About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build high-quality mobile apps with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform using shared business logic and UI across iOS and other platforms
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested Kotlin code using modern mobile development practices
Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces with Compose Multiplatform
Integrate shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules with native iOS APIs, including biometrics, Apple Wallet, keychain and push notifications
Contribute to shared KMP codebases
Collaborate with the wider engineering team and key customer stakeholders in a self-led environment
Champion engineering excellence and best practices across KMP, CMP and iOS development
Participate in unit testing, peer reviews and mobile community discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on commercial Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience
Understanding of architecting and integrating shared codebases across platforms
Hands-on experience with Compose Multiplatform or Jetpack Compose
Experience with modern mobile application architecture
Comfortable working with Kotlin and integrating shared KMP modules with native iOS APIs
Hands-on experience using AI coding tools, such as Claude Code, in day-to-day delivery
Strong focus on code quality, testing and clean architecture principles
Experience working effectively in a self-led environment without dedicated product, design or QA support
iOS platform knowledge, including Xcode, iOS frameworks and tooling, strongly preferred
Swift familiarity is a plus
Experience releasing iOS apps to the App Store from a KMP + CMP codebase is desirable
Android / Jetpack Compose experience is desirable
