About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as an advisor to business areas, assessing new projects, products, and partnerships and proposing swift solutions that enable opportunities and/or mitigate risks
  • Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks, proposing practical, objective action plans that can be implemented quickly
  • Monitor new industry regulations, anticipating their impact on the business and developing proposals for rapid adaptation plans
  • Keep the institution ahead of and protected against regulatory changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Experience in Regulatory Compliance at financial institutions, payment institutions, fintechs, or Direct Credit Companies (SCDs)
  • Practical experience handling regulatory requests and interacting with regulatory authorities
  • Experience with projects involving the launch of new products and/or services
  • Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to payment institutions and SCDs, including payment accounts, PIX, Open Finance, credit cards, and personal loans
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Governance, and Risk Management
  • Experience with regulatory reporting processes for governance bodies
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple business areas
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code
  • Certifications in Compliance, Governance, or Risk Management are a plus
