Key responsibilities & impact

Build strategic site rankings, market comparison screeners, total cost models, commute and drive-time studies, labor market assessments and portfolio consolidation analyses
Scope requests with advisors, define the approach and data, build and QA models, and deliver client-ready outputs
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously
Produce rapid location analytics, demos and market assessments for competitive pitches
Turn complex analysis into clear visuals and recommendations in Tableau and PowerPoint
Present alongside advisors to client stakeholders, typically by video
Build reusable Alteryx workflows, Tableau templates and standard deliverables
Use AI tools to accelerate research, data preparation, coding, QA and first-draft narratives
Maintain data quality and documentation across labor, demographic, geospatial and cost data sources
Help evaluate new data partners
Mentor analysts and interns
Contribute case studies and examples for internal marketing to advisors
Independently deliver core location and market analyses within 90 days
Develop reusable templates or workflows to shorten turnaround times
Serve as a trusted point of contact for advisors
Contribute at least two case studies in the first year

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS, Alteryx and Tableau, and advanced Excel
Experience with labor market data, ideally Lightcast
Understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, including occupancy cost and lease economics, market rents and vacancy, site selection, and real estate decision-making
Demonstrated AI fluency, including real examples of using AI tools and ability to verify outputs
Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
Experience developing executive-level presentations
Comfort working directly with senior advisors and client executives
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a remote environment while maintaining high accuracy
Bachelor’s Degree in geography/GIS, economics, urban planning, real estate, finance, data analytics or a related field
4 to 7 years of experience in location strategy, site selection, labor analytics, market research or analytics consulting; candidates with 3 to 4 years may be considered at the Senior Analyst level
Commercial real estate or corporate occupier experience strongly preferred
Preferred: healthcare market or utilization analytics experience
Preferred: SQL or Python for data preparation and automation
Preferred: experience with Placer.ai, Experian Mosaic, CoStar or parcel data
Preferred: exposure to economic incentives, workforce planning or industrial/distribution network analysis
Preferred: Esri technical certification or CoreNet Global involvement
Preferred: experience building automated or AI-assisted analytics workflows
Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and team sessions
