About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate acquisitions, product launches, and go-to-market shifts into existing data, systems, and reporting
Define solutions for non-routine business events, including system changes, processes, policies, and data models
Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual for coordinating cross-functional delivery
Own and drive M&A integration reporting and data-model alignment after acquisitions
Ensure new-product success metrics can be tracked in models, definitions, and reporting
Sequence work and manage handoffs across Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and Data Governance
Establish and run the Business Intelligence Council
Drive alignment on measures, attributes, hierarchy definitions, and prioritization
Maintain knowledge of GTM, Finance, Product, and other business functions
Report to the VP of Data & Analytics within Business Operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in management consulting, in-house strategy, business operations, or business analytics
Track record of operating in unfamiliar functions and reframing ambiguously-posed questions
Fluency across GTM, Finance, Product, and other functions
Ability to join multiple tables, write a CTE, and get the aggregation grain right
Ability to diagnose whether a reporting issue stems from a system, process, or data model
Ability to flex communication style for executives and operational teams
First-hand experience ensuring business data and reporting keep up following an acquisition or new product launch
Bonus: experience inside a post-close M&A integration, a new product introduction, or a go-to-market model change
Bonus: experience in late-stage B2B SaaS startups (Series E+) and/or early public B2B SaaS companies
Occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required across time zones
