About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take overall technical responsibility for developing and enhancing scalable drone-in-a-box platforms
Own the cloud backend, web frontend, and integration layers connecting drone hardware, edge systems, and external services
Support the entire product lifecycle, from conception and implementation through to stable operations
Design highly available, secure, and scalable cloud architectures for mission-critical applications in the public safety and security sector
Make key architecture and technology decisions, including those involving cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Design and implement robust, versioned REST APIs and microservices
Integrate drone, telemetry, and sensor data in real time
Develop high-performance, secure web interfaces for monitoring, controlling, and analyzing drone-in-a-box systems
Establish and oversee modern DevOps processes, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, logging, and alerting
Incorporate security and compliance requirements, including Identity and Access Management, API security, and secrets management
Secure cloud, edge, and drone-in-a-box components and support regulatory requirements such as GDPR and ISO 27001
Collaborate with product management, systems architecture, hardware and drone teams, and external partners
Serve as a technical point of contact, provide professional guidance, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and provide technical leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Lead or Senior Full-Stack Developer
Strong proficiency in TypeScript for frontend and backend development
Solid experience with Nuxt.js and the Vue.js ecosystem
Practical experience with NestJS, dependency injection, and modular architectures
Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, or NoSQL databases
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to write clean, maintainable code with strong attention to detail
Nice to have: Experience with Jest and Cypress
Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Nice to have: Experience with GraphQL
Nice to have: Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
