About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure compliance with working drawings, specifications, processes, standards and best practices
Observe and document in-process and finished product at various stages of production to identify defects or issues
Conduct audits or inspections to identify non-conformance and report findings to supervisor
Calibrate and maintain test equipment
Address issues to ensure quality standards are upheld
Assist with training team members on quality processes
Recommend improvements to production process techniques to ensure high-quality output
Communicate with team members to solve problems
Focus on meeting or exceeding customer requirements and expectations
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
Strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, can do attitude, great attendance, and excellent quality & safety awareness
A bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills
Commitment to continual improvement, effective quality management systems and safe work practices
Understanding the production and work order process
Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and work instructions
Physical fitness and strength to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, bend, crouch and reach
Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
May require travel up to 20%
