About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and negotiate commercial contracts with speed and precision
Identify obligations, risks, and off-market terms
Collaborate with Crosby legal team members to interpret contract terms and surface anomalies and edge cases
Identify inefficiencies and recurring review patterns and turn them into process improvements
Standardize and codify recurring contract types and playbooks
Partner with engineering and operations to evolve Crosby’s legal service delivery model
Orchestrate Crosby’s AI tooling while applying expert legal judgment
Own commercial contract outcomes end-to-end and improve client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years reviewing commercial contracts in private practice or in-house
Impeccable attention to detail and sound, commercial judgment
Ability to identify buried clauses, incorrect cross-references, and distinguish signal from noise
High standards for work quality
Ability to embrace change and work confidently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in or experience tinkering with AI
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must disclose whether employer sponsorship is currently or prospectively required to work in the United States
