About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components
Build backend systems using C# and Python, with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DocumentDB, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
Implement, test, and iterate on maintainable software solutions addressing short-term and long-term considerations
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to define technical approaches and solutions
Contribute to lending infrastructure that supports fintech partners in originating, funding, servicing, and selling consumer and commercial loans across a compliant end-to-end lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience developing enterprise systems in modern, current object-oriented languages, with at least 2+ years of C# or Python
2+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server
Experience working with AI assistive and agentic code generation (e.g. Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)
Database persistence frameworks (e.g. nHibernate, Entity Framework)
Strong communication skills
Experience or understanding of Domain Driven Design
Cloud Architecture, preferably AWS
Docker / Containers
Experience designing and developing distributed systems and event driven architecture is preferred
Experience or understanding of MassTransit or NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, and idempotency is preferred
Financial industry / accounting experience or understanding is helpful, but not required
