About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source mortgage leads
- Build business relationships with real estate agents and other lead sources
- Analyze loan markets and develop referral networks
- Market CCM products and services
- Meet applicants, obtain loan application information, and answer process questions
- Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations
- Explain loan types, credit options, and service terms
- Generate complete loan applications and documentation
- Inform applicants of additional requirements and improve applications and documentation
- Answer customer questions and requests
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Own communication with real estate agents or referral sources
- Confer with processing and underwriting to resolve mortgage application problems
- Maintain job knowledge through education, publications, networks, and professional organizations
- Participate in mortgage sales activities, including closings, open houses, CCM seminars/trainings, and lead-generation activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in Chinese and English
- NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
- Experience with and/or knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems
- Experience proactively soliciting new business
- Encompass experience preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage products and programs
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate credit requests and determine marketplace trends
- Advanced communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
