About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels
  • Work directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings
  • Review mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents
  • Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers
  • Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers
  • Review documents and entire loan files, identify deficiencies, and notify mortgage loan officers and/or processors
  • Clarify or correct information and obtain additional information via phone and email
  • Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or processors
  • Provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing
  • Assist in managing pipelines containing conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans
  • Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and retrieve proof of receipt
  • Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up with customers for required documentation
  • Work with title companies and customers to schedule timely loan closings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • NMLS License Required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact
  • Fluency in the languages of Spanish and English in order to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, of whom may speak only English or Spanish, preferred
  • Previous sales support experience, preferred
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
