About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the technical roadmap and strategy for programmable smart-wallet infrastructure across EVM, Solana, and Stellar
Lead a team of 6 engineers and establish engineering standards
Design and deliver on-chain wallet primitives, including smart-contract signers, recovery signers, delegated signer permissions, gas sponsorship, wallet creation billing, device signers, and multi-chain transaction orchestration
Lead technical direction for wallet products serving enterprise and agentic-payments customers
Coordinate with GTM, CSE, and Product teams to align roadmap priorities with commercial requirements
Establish code quality standards, PR review guidelines, AI-assisted development workflows, sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical documentation
Set up and maintain Datadog observability dashboards for success rates, latency, and transaction throughput
Manage onboarding, performance coaching, and technical mentoring for 6 direct reports
Represent the Wallets team in cross-functional planning, product updates, architecture reviews, and partner technical calls
Write and merge production code across wallet signer authorization, EVM UserOperation bundler flows, Solana fee estimation, Stellar smart-contract infrastructure, card-collateral top-ups, and web/mobile SDK fixes

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in the job offered or in a Full-Stack Engineer or Engineering Lead-related occupation
TypeScript experience designing scalable, production-grade full-stack applications and decentralized wallet interfaces
Experience with high-performance React integrations
Experience developing backend services using NestJS
Experience with Temporal distributed task orchestration
Experience with blockchain data processing and real-time event handling
Experience building, auditing, and deploying Solidity and Stellar/Soroban smart contracts in production
Knowledge of security standards, gas optimization, and third-party audit remediation
Experience designing and maintaining multi-chain infrastructure across EVM, Solana, and Stellar
Experience with smart-contract factories, event indexers, webhook pipelines, and on-chain/off-chain data systems
Experience deploying monitoring, observability, and fault-tolerant solutions using Datadog and Temporal
Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, conducting technical interviews, defining engineering standards, and driving code quality through structured reviews
Experience managing distributed AI-assisted engineering workflows using Devin
