About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
- Perform basic malware analysis
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and execution of countermeasures
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events
- Manage internal programs or teams
- Work allocated Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday shifts as part of a global follow-the-sun team, totaling 40 hours per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- 実務経験 1 - 4年
- Capable of completing technical tasks without supervision
- Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills
- Strong project management skills
- Contributing thought leader within the incident response industry
- Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude
- Strong verbal and communication skills of difficult technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical ability
- Experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists
- Background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise
- Understanding of system internals required to understand how to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation
- Knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and ability to perform analysis of associated network logs
- Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis
- Strong understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations
- Strong understanding of secure network architecture and strong background in performing network operations
- Experience coding in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET
- Currently located in Japan (remote within Japan will be gladly considered); visa sponsorship is not available
- High business level to native Japanese language skills, including writing, required to communicate directly with local customers without peer proofreading
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
- Australia-based Japanese speakers welcome; visa sponsorship is not available
