About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain security automation workflows and playbooks in SOAR platforms
Develop PowerShell and Python scripts for security enrichment, remediation, and basic forensic functions
Integrate SIEM queries into automated workflows
Assist with implementation of AI workflows
Apply JSON and Regular Expressions for security data manipulation
Partner with SOC analysts and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities
Gather feedback from Falcon Complete SOC analysts
Maintain version control using Git platforms
Improve operational efficiency and analyst productivity
Evaluate emerging SOAR, automation, and AI technologies for MDR operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or cybersecurity
Proficiency with PowerShell for security investigation and response tasks
Working knowledge of Python for automation and API integration
Basic understanding of SIEM query languages and security analytics
Familiarity with JSON and Regular Expressions for data parsing
Understanding of incident detection and response workflows in SOC/MDR environments
Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field, or relevant work experience and/or training in lieu of a degree
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work independently and identify repetitive processes for scalable automation
