About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Position CrowdStrike’s next-generation endpoint security and primary vendor strategies to senior customer executives within the Federal Civilian Community
  • Run a Federal/Civilian sales territory, including pipeline development, territory planning, account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short-, mid-, and long-term opportunity management
  • Establish access to and maintain active relationships with key Federal/Civilian decision makers across IT and senior executive levels
  • Identify, develop, and execute account strategies to close new business and expand revenue across the assigned region
  • Scope, negotiate, and close agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets
  • Target and gain access to decision makers in key prospect accounts
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development
  • Work with partners to leverage established account presence and relationships
  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate prospect information using Salesforce and MEDDPICC

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of solution selling experience
  • 3+ years’ experience selling software security and/or infrastructure products within the Federal Government and Civilian Community
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding booking and revenue targets
  • Successful experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Ability to build executive relationships, articulate product and business strategies, and create demand
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems and explaining complicated concepts to varied audiences
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex multivariate problems using a systematic approach
  • Experience developing relationships with senior executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel on short notice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
