About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and lead a deeply technical AI Solutions team
- Hire, develop, and lead AI solutions engineers, data engineers, and AI product talent
- Own intake and prioritization of internal AI opportunities
- Evaluate business value, feasibility, risk, and reuse
- Sequence the portfolio and communicate prioritization decisions
- Lead discovery with business and technical teams
- Define solution architecture, scope, success measures, dependencies, and effort estimates
- Allocate engineering, data, and product capacity across concurrent initiatives
- Secure support from functional teams, IT, AI Platform, Architecture, Privacy, and Security
- Remove delivery blockers
- Review critical architectures, implementation approaches, evaluations, and production-readiness decisions
- Ensure solutions meet standards for security, privacy, reliability, observability, cost, and human oversight
- Deliver solutions against agreed scope and complete clean handoffs
- Review value after launch
- Turn recurring needs into reusable solution patterns, evaluation assets, and delivery playbooks
- Feed platform gaps back to AI Platform and Architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years designing, building, or deploying production systems
- 3+ years leading technical teams
- Experience taking LLM-based or agentic solutions from discovery through production
- Direct involvement in architecture, integration, deployment, evaluation, and operational readiness
- Experience leading a solutions architecture, applied AI, engineering, platform, or shared-services team serving multiple business units
- Responsibility for prioritization and capacity allocation
- Strong technical scoping and estimation
- Working knowledge of agent and tool orchestration, prompt and context design, guardrails, evaluation, data modeling, APIs, identity, and cloud or hybrid deployment
- Experience hiring and developing senior AI, engineering, data, and product talent
- Experience building or leading an internal FDE, solutions architecture, applied AI, or enterprise AI delivery organization
- Experience creating validated designs or reference architectures spanning AI models, data, infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems
- Experience delivering agentic AI for cybersecurity or another high-consequence operational environment
- Experience deploying AI across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments
