About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect solutions and support implementation of core features
- Develop and improve the Windows kernel-mode endpoint sensor for next-generation antivirus and enhanced detection and response security software
- Develop new product concepts
- Design and build software with cross-platform deliverables for Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Own features from design through delivery, including participating in product demos at the end of sprints
- Lead projects efficiently while maximizing performance and minimizing costs
- Maintain high standards for design, coding quality, unit testing, and component testing
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams in various locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be eligible for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status
- Must periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements
- In-depth knowledge of C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development
- Strong low-level OS internals knowledge in either Windows, Mac OS, or Linux
- Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance
- Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases
- Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
- OS system expertise in core concepts and subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, and file systems
- Knowledge in security
- Strong background in scalable, lightweight, and highly performing systems
- Familiarity with Agile process
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
