About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and build the foundational risk intelligence platform for next-generation security insights
Develop backend services for analyzing massive data streams, complex risk calculations, and intelligent remediation automation
Design and develop scalable backend services for internal and customer-facing web applications
Create command-line utilities and APIs integrating with the platform ecosystem
Architect databases, real-time data pipelines, and monitoring solutions
Collaborate with UX/UI, Sensors, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions and documentation
Configure monitoring and alerting and maintain high availability for production services
Drive architectural improvements, optimize performance, and enhance user experience
Guide junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making
Maintain healthy service operations through proactive maintenance and incident response
Drive end-to-end product delivery and collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and scope

Requirements

What you’ll need

8-10 years of production experience building, delivering, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems processing high-volume data
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Kafka for high-velocity streaming events and large-scale batch ETL workloads
Advanced programming expertise in strongly typed, object-oriented languages
Experience with Golang and Python
Proven microservices experience designing scalable REST APIs and distributed communication patterns
Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge with AWS, Azure, and GCP
Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
System troubleshooting expertise for complex distributed architectures
Experience with testing strategies, code reviews, and resilient architecture design
Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decisions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design principles
Expertise tuning and managing batch or streaming processing at scale
Graph database knowledge and experience with graph structures
Cassandra and CQL experience
Docker and Kubernetes experience
Cybersecurity industry experience or relevant certifications
Open source contributions or technical community involvement
