About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop software for deployment on macOS systems
Own features from design through delivery
Build and maintain the macOS sensor and platform for prevention, detection, and response capabilities
Develop core sensor components in user space using Swift, C++, and ObjC++
Work on features spanning file system, memory, process, and networking subsystems
Collaborate with multifunctional teams across various physical locations
Troubleshoot product issues reported by customers responsively
Deliver core features and releases for CrowdStrike Falcon Host's macOS lightweight agent
Work on shared components across Windows and Linux where applicable
Complete other projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be eligible for CJIS clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status
Ability to develop high-quality code in Swift, C/C++, ObjC, and Python, demonstrated through job experience, schoolwork, or community projects
Systems-level experience on macOS developing production code
Experience with high concurrency requirements and strong use of multi-threading
Experience meeting high reliability requirements
Experience developing extensible, testable, and maintainable code
Experience with Xcode and system-level macOS frameworks/libraries such as GCD and XPC
Experience debugging background launchd processes
Knowledge of low-level operating characteristics, including security, memory usage, efficient performance, and conformance to external standards
Experience working on a team to ship major features and releases
Ability to lead, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
Prior experience with Endpoint products, cybersecurity, or networking technologies is a bonus
Deep knowledge of Network Extension framework and/or Endpoint Security library is a bonus
Experience developing shared cross-platform C++ code is a bonus
Must periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements
