About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of global time and absence programs
- Define program goals and success metrics for accuracy, compliance, and supportive employee experiences
- Serve as the subject matter expert on time tracking, leave of absence, and absence management practices
- Continuously evaluate and improve programs to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Legal on leave policy design and administration
- Work with regional stakeholders to balance global standards with local requirements
- Work closely with Product Manager and IT to optimize time and absence modules within Workday
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate data flow between time/absence, payroll, and HR systems
- Ensure programs comply with global, regional, and local labor laws and leave regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, statutory leave entitlements, and working time directives
- Monitor regulatory changes and update policies, processes, and configurations accordingly
- Translate regulatory requirements into system and program design specifications
- Develop training and enablement materials, documentation, and communications for program implementations and enhancements
- Lead change management for new system rollouts and policy updates
- Provide guidance and support to HR teams, managers, and employees
- Gather feedback to inform continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with 5+ years in time and absence
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
- Strong knowledge of Workday Time & Absence modules
- Solid understanding of global time management and leave laws and compliance requirements
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and complex programs
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience managing time and absence programs across multiple global regions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
