About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead IT General Controls, IT Audit, IT SOX, and IT Risk Consulting engagements
- Plan projects and perform IT risk assessments
- Supervise staff with 3–5 years of experience
- Execute fieldwork and reporting
- Evaluate and test application and IT general controls across various systems
- Strengthen client relationships through quality service delivery and successful project execution
- Define performance expectations, evaluate staff IT auditors, provide feedback, and participate in training
- Facilitate technology-based tools and methodologies to review, design, or implement products and services
- Present IT control findings to management
- Build technical and transferable skills while using technology and emerging AI capabilities to improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes
- Collaborate across teams and support client relationships, account strategy, delivery excellence, and trusted partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Major in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems preferred
- 5 years or more of experience in IT audit, corporate IT audit, or technology risk consulting
- Professional certification such as CISA, CPA, CIA, or similar
- IT General Controls (ITGCs): design, testing, and evaluation of access, change management, and IT operations controls
- IT Application Controls (ITACs): testing automated controls embedded within business processes
- Key Report Testing: validating accuracy and completeness of system-generated reports
- System Development Life Cycle (SDLC): evaluation and design of SDLC controls, change management, and IT governance processes
- Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly to business and executive stakeholders
- Experience managing engagement teams, providing coaching, and developing junior staff
- Experience planning and leading engagements, managing IT audit projects, supervising personnel/teams, and developing audit work programs
- Understanding of COSO, COBIT, audit methodologies, and key internal audit deliverables
- SAP implementation experience, including SAP ECC, S/4, RISE, and GRC
- Continuous control monitoring or automation experience
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and enterprise data warehouses
- Experience with cloud and SaaS environments
- Experience performing IT risk assessments
- Willingness to travel up to 60% or more annually
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
