Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead expansion of Crowe’s brand and market connections through industry groups and events
  • Collaborate with executive management at financial services organizations, including FinTechs, to assess, design, and build financial crime programs
  • Expand the ecosystem of technology and industry partners
  • Lead a dynamic and diverse team across the United States to grow the financial crime business
  • Innovate through the firmwide innovation program to develop new offerings
  • Collaborate with data, technology, and financial crime compliance professionals to lead analytics offerings
  • Oversee delivery of financial crime consulting services to banks, money service businesses, third-party payment providers, FinTechs, and other financial services companies
  • Build and enhance financial crime compliance management systems
  • Lead project execution, deepen client relationships, contribute to account planning, and identify opportunities to add value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of financial services Financial Crime compliance management and/or consulting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 5+ personnel
  • Understanding of Financial Crime compliance management system expectations for alternative Financial Services providers, including FinTechs
  • Intermediate understanding of Model Risk Management principles, including OCC 2011-12 and SR 11-7
  • Experience with system optimization, methodology development, ATL/BTL approaches and execution, and documentation development and/or independent model testing/model validation
  • Ability to anticipate, draw conclusions, and adapt to changing needs and demands
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and reasoning abilities
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Working knowledge of project planning and project management methods and tools
  • Supervisory experience leading diverse teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to lead projects with little oversight or contribute to a broad program leadership team
  • Preferred: expertise in FinTech business models, ecosystems, banking and technology partners, payment platforms, regulatory and independent testing expectations, financial crime solutions and controls, and common financial crime technology platforms
  • Preferred: prior financial crime consulting experience
  • Preferred: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification
  • Expected travel of approximately 30%
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States; Crowe is not sponsoring work authorization
