About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute deep technical configuration and scripting for ServiceNow ITOM, including Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors
Install, configure, and troubleshoot MID Servers
Create Event Management rules and alert correlations
Design and deploy Service Mapping
Develop and maintain integrations with external systems, including monitoring tools and CMDB feeders
Translate technical requirements and architecture into scalable, supportable implementations
Collaborate with Solution Architects and engagement leads to ensure solution quality and alignment
Write and maintain reusable documentation and internal development standards
Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and ongoing performance tuning
Participate in internal technical design sessions and code reviews
Engage with clients during technical workshops, validations, or post-go-live support
Lead teams, guide project execution, deepen client relationships, contribute to account planning, identify opportunities, and support client strategy and solution development

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years of professional experience
5+ years of direct ServiceNow ITOM hands-on work
3+ years of experience delivering ServiceNow implementations and integrations with an emphasis on ITOM
Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
Ability to independently deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly around documenting complex logic
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within distributed teams
Bachelor's degree
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting methods
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, discovery patterns, and infrastructure modeling
Experience integrating with third-party tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, and LogicMonitor
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments
Strong troubleshooting skills with MID Servers, connectivity, and system performance
One of the following certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Discovery, Service Mapping or Event Management, or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
