About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support transaction-structuring execution across debt mandates, including modeling, diligence coordination, and documentation
- Prepare client-facing financing presentations, credit memos, investor marketing materials, and internal approvals
- Support advisory mandates through financing-alternatives analysis, capital-raising strategy, and process management
- Conduct capital-structure, pricing, and credit analysis across renewable-energy asset classes
- Participate in strategic client meetings on financing alternatives, market positioning, and structuring considerations
- Interface directly with capital providers, developers, sponsors, and external advisors
- Work with senior Structuring team members to drive transactions from intake through term sheets
- Maintain active market intelligence
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve modeling, diligence, and reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to process improvements and template standardization across models, memos, and term sheets
- Support platform initiatives that scale capital-markets workflows and develop technology-enabled financing products and solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS a plus
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated exposure to capital markets and/or project finance transactions
- Strong financial modeling and structuring skills
- Mastery of core valuation and credit concepts
- Strong Excel skills and comfort building and navigating complex financial models
- VBA or Python skills a plus
- Experience preparing transaction materials and conducting due diligence
- Familiarity with clean-infrastructure capital markets instruments, including term loans, private credit, structured debt, and project-level financing
- Exposure to tax equity underwriting a plus
- Experience in a transaction-focused environment with client interaction responsibility is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed, highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable adopting new technology platforms and integrating AI tools into daily workflows
- FINRA SIE, Series 79, and 63, or willingness to obtain them under Crux's broker-dealer sponsorship
