About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and evolve Crux's partnership program across channel/referral, product-enabled, and research & IP motions
  • Build tiered partner frameworks with activation criteria, enablement programs, co-sell motions, and performance metrics
  • Operationalize partner management in HubSpot and internal systems
  • Track referrals, attribution, partner health, and ROI
  • Build and run a repeatable partner acquisition program
  • Identify, qualify, activate, onboard, and expand target partner personas
  • Maintain a portfolio view of partnerships and determine when to deepen, restructure, or exit relationships
  • Manage and deepen relationships with Big 4 firms, AmLaw law firms, insurance brokers, and trade associations
  • Develop partner enablement content, co-branded campaigns, and joint GTM motions
  • Negotiate and manage referral agreements, revenue share, co-marketing commitments, and alliance structures
  • Drive partner adoption of the Crux platform for deal diligence, document finalization, and transaction workflows
  • Collaborate with product and research on product- and intelligence-enabled partnership motions
  • Track and improve platform adoption metrics by partner
  • Own the strategic direction of the market intelligence briefing series and thought leadership programs
  • Architect and scale partner briefings, cohosted receptions, conference activations, and regional roadshows
  • Drive partner-facing presence at key conferences
  • Coordinate with research, content, events, commercial, and RevOps teams
  • Coordinate subject matter experts from Legal, Policy, Commercial, and Research
  • Ensure partner insights inform product and commercial strategy
  • Lead four direct reports and hire additional headcount as the program scales
  • Develop career paths and build a culture of operational rigor, commercial accountability, and creative partner engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or alliance management
  • At least 4 years leading and scaling a partnership team
  • Experience building a partnership program into a structured, tiered operation
  • Track record owning a revenue number tied to partner-sourced pipeline
  • Experience building attribution models and managing referral agreements, revenue share, and joint GTM
  • Deep experience managing enterprise relationships with Big 4 firms, AmLaw firms, and large financial institutions
  • Understanding of internal BD dynamics, compliance constraints, and referral behavior
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across research, content, events, product, and commercial teams
  • Experience running content-led, events-driven, or thought-leadership-driven partner engagement programs
  • Preferred: financial services, structured finance, tax, or capital markets experience
  • Preferred: product-enabled partnerships experience
  • Preferred: clean energy finance knowledge or ability to learn complex technical domains quickly
  • Preferred: familiarity with energy-transition partner personas, including commodity brokers/traders, financial intermediaries, cost segregation and appraisal providers, and independent engineering firms
