About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own financial strategy and long-range planning for all Americas entities, including Nadex, OG.com prediction markets operations, and the U.S. crypto exchange business
- Serve as primary finance business partner to Americas leadership
- Provide insights on revenue, margin, product economics, and capital allocation
- Build and present board-ready financial narratives and investor materials
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Lead financial integration and operational setup of new business lines
- Oversee U.S. GAAP financial statements, management reporting, and global consolidation deliverables
- Ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting and SOX-equivalent frameworks
- Manage external audit relationships and coordinate group-level audit and statutory requirements
- Own technical accounting positions involving digital assets, derivatives revenue recognition, and customer fund segregation
- Ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, including capital adequacy, regulatory reporting, and customer protection rules
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory filings, examinations, and responses to CFTC, NFA, and state inquiries
- Maintain and enhance controls for customer fund segregation and protection
- Monitor U.S. digital asset and prediction market regulations and advise leadership
- Oversee treasury operations, cash management, bank relationships, and liquidity planning
- Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and funding structures
- Collaborate with Tax on tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing documentation
- Build, lead, and develop the Americas finance team
- Drive finance process improvement and systems modernization, including ERP optimization and reporting automation
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations on product launches, market structure changes, and new business initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA required
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with a meaningful portion in financial services or capital markets
- Deep familiarity with US GAAP, including technical accounting for derivatives, financial instruments, and revenue recognition
- Experience with CFTC-regulated entities or similar regulatory environments (SEC, FINRA, OCC) and associated financial reporting and capital requirements
- Proven track record of building and leading finance teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex financial topics to senior leadership, board members, and regulators
- Direct experience with DCMs, SEFs, or FCMs preferred
- Experience in cryptocurrency and digital asset treasury management, including on-chain transactions and stablecoins, advantageous
- Experience with prediction markets, event contracts, or binary options preferred
- Proficiency with modern finance tools and platforms such as NetSuite, Anaplan, Tableau, or similar preferred
