About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, configure, manage, and enhance SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions
- Support enterprise compliance, risk governance, control effectiveness, and process optimization through SAP GRC Process Control and SAP GRC Risk Management
- Lead implementation and configuration of SAP GRC Process Control and SAP GRC Risk Management
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and audit teams to gather and validate requirements
- Translate business, audit, compliance, and risk-management requirements into SAP GRC solutions
- Collaborate with audit and business teams to strengthen compliance and optimize risk-management processes
- Establish and maintain control frameworks within SAP GRC
- Support manual testing of effectiveness and continuous control monitoring activities
- Configure and support risk heat maps and key risk indicator tracking
- Assist with risk assessments and control-effectiveness activities
- Support SAP GRC enhancements, maintenance, and process improvements
- Analyze functional and technical issues and coordinate resolution
- Document process changes, risk assessments, control activities, and system configurations
- Communicate solution designs, process updates, risks, and control requirements to technical and business stakeholders
- Adapt solutions and priorities to evolving business, audit, and compliance needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to obtain a Federal Secret security clearance (Active clearance preferred)
- 10+ years of SAP experience
- At least eight years of hands-on experience with SAP GRC Process Control and SAP GRC Risk Management
- Strong techno-functional experience implementing SAP GRC solutions and optimizing associated business processes
- Experience establishing and maintaining control frameworks
- Experience with manual testing of effectiveness
- Experience with continuous control monitoring
- Experience configuring or supporting risk heat maps
- Experience tracking key risk indicators
- Experience collaborating with audit teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to document and communicate process changes, risk assessments, and control activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Professional presence
- SAP GRC or related professional certification preferred
- Experience working directly with audit departments and business-process owners preferred
- Advanced knowledge of risk-assessment methodologies preferred
- Advanced understanding of internal control frameworks preferred
- Experience supporting SAP GRC enhancements and ongoing maintenance preferred
- Experience facilitating requirements-gathering workshops with audit and business stakeholders preferred
- Strong process-optimization and continuous-improvement capabilities preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently preferred
- Strong customer and vendor relationship skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies preferred
- Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value preferred
- Past experience working with a federal government agency preferred
- Department of War experience is a plus
