About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full 3–36 month network supply and inventory plans for manufacturing sites and contract manufacturing organizations
  • Set supply plans for all product volumes flowing through sites and CMOs
  • Develop rolling 36-month S&OP plans in Rapid Response to meet market demand and inventory targets
  • Integrate 3-year and 10-year strategic demand plans with operational demand plans
  • Analyze operational capacity, maximize existing capacity, conduct supply scenario analysis, and plan long-range capital investment and capacity
  • Evaluate scenarios for commercial tenders, upside opportunities, and selling-mix changes
  • Escalate infeasible supply plans and provide financially impactful scenarios for Supply Review Meetings
  • Collaborate across sites and functions to identify feasible, gap-minimizing scenarios and manage key stakeholders
  • Own global inventory plans for paste, intermediates, semi-finished products, and finished products
  • Support Supply Review Meetings, Global Supply Review Meetings, and BU Executive IBP Meetings with planning analysis, scenarios, and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with demand planning and finance to align feasible supply and inventory plans with “One Plan”
  • Support root-cause analysis of excess inventory, service, and cost issues
  • Collaborate on supply allocation between markets when supply and demand imbalance exists
  • Integrate new product development, clinical trials, commercialization, calendars, and strategic planning initiatives into supply plans
  • Measure and manage IBP metrics, including plan performance, inventory turns, and service measurements
  • Drive resolution of supply-chain issues with manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, communications, marketing, and other functions
  • Influence site master schedulers across sites and CMOs to align supply and inventory plans and track planning performance
  • Lead metric reviews, root-cause below-target performance, implement corrective actions, and present decisions and financially impactful scenarios in IBP meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Sciences
  • Master of Business Administration preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP
  • Advanced SAP (S/4 HANA) knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience with an advanced planning tool such as Kinaxis RapidResponse or APO SNP
  • English language fluency required
  • Certification in APICS CPIM/CSCP, IBF, or similar expected
  • Experience in business planning, S&OP, project management, or other relevant cross-functional processes required
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business strategies
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills in a global network
  • Strong ability to plan and organize work
  • Demonstrated capabilities in change management and stakeholder management
  • Commitment to leading a continuous improvement culture
  • Competencies required: customer focus, decision quality, drives results, plans and aligns, manages complexity, drives engagement
  • Must work onsite at any posted location at least 3 days per week
