About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop the IPM web application for process data management
Develop across the Java backend, SQL, and React frontend
Implement new features
Analyze and resolve issues
Contribute to the technical modernization of the application
Develop and optimize SQL
Maintain and expand CI/CD pipelines
Write tests
Conduct code reviews
Create technical documentation
Collaborate with Testing, Support, and Product Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent experience
More than 3 years of development experience
Very good German and/or English language skills
Several years of experience developing with Java
Experience in frontend development with React
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, ideally Oracle
Experience with AI-driven development
Experience with Git, pull request workflows, and automated testing, such as JUnit
Structured approach to troubleshooting in complex, mature applications
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with Testing, Support, and Product Management
Experience with Java frameworks and application servers is a plus
Experience with CI/CD, particularly GitHub Actions
Knowledge of Linux and Docker
