Explore client business operations and scope appropriate solutions with clients and Cuesta teams
Design and build software that changes how client work gets done
Own solutions end to end, including discovery, system design, coding, deployment, and production iteration
Demo working solutions in under a week and ship to production in weeks
Build custom AI agents and LLM features with solution architects and data engineers
Connect AI agents and applications to client data, tools, and workflows
Engineer with Claude Code and define the team’s AI coding-tool playbook
Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code
Ensure production-grade reliability and security
Turn engagement learnings into reusable components
Shape the technology stack, processes, and hiring as the team grows
Progress toward technical leadership, hiring, training, and ownership of core engineering practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years building and shipping production software
Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code
Strong modern web development fundamentals
Experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Docker, LangChain, and LangSmith
Experience deploying and operating production apps on AWS, Azure, GCP, Vercel, or similar
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Pulumi
Comfort exploring and scoping ambiguous problems with clients and teammates
Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
