About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships while meeting monthly sales goals
  • Train to understand the full use and benefits of Culligan products and services
  • Assist residential leads and potential customers with a team of Residential Sales Representatives
  • Promote long-term relationship-building sales approaches to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and improve sales-toolbox best practices, including presentation formatting, financial documentation, lead-generation methods, and cost modeling
  • Correspond with leads and appointments as scheduled
  • Attend assigned appointments professionally and with integrity
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the relevant database
  • Learn, maintain, and apply technical information related to residential Culligan products
  • Understand customer needs and present viable solutions
  • Accurately represent product capabilities, terms, procedures, and dealership policy
  • Deliver effective sales presentations educating customers about available products and services
  • Document installation arrangements, pumps, and related equipment; check electrical and drain requirements
  • Take ownership of new customer accounts and follow up to ensure satisfaction and secure referrals
  • Maintain security of customer information
  • Participate in promotional activities such as trade shows and exhibits
  • Meet minimum sales standards
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer skills required: Contract Management Systems (e.g., DocuSign), Human Resource Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Sales license and state licenses as required
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven record of accomplishment in sales
  • Expert in effective communication
  • Able to adapt to individual customer needs
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; continually lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to attend scheduled appointments in new businesses and/or homes, where conditions may be unknown
  • Willingness to work some evenings or weekends based on events and customer requests
