About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, repair, and maintain multiple brands of water treatment systems across the district
Work closely with the Service Coordinator
Deliver excellent customer service and build strong professional relationships
Load and unload the vehicle
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
Arrange payments from customers
Maintain the tool kit and vehicle inventory
Perform installations and filter changes
Build equipment according to provided specifications
Maintain retail units, returned units, and refurbished units
Diagnose service issues over the phone and on site
Perform and read water tests to recommend required equipment services
Install equipment based on notes, pictures, and specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Class 5 or better driver's license
Clean driving record; annual abstract required
Criminal record check by RCMP
Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs.
Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
Problem-solving skills
Ability to follow instructions
Attention to detail
Critical thinking
Job task planning and organizing
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Plumbing experience is asked about in the application
