About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to the Grantmaking team
  • Assist with program communications
  • Update the database
  • Organize files and reports
  • Translate, draft, edit, review, and proofread documents in different languages
  • Produce written pieces, including interviews, audio transcriptions, translations, and short summaries on grant and fellowship projects
  • Create multimedia content for publication, including audiovisual materials and graphic design pieces
  • Report to the Capacity Building Program Manager
  • Dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Participate in monthly mentorship opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Adept on the Internet
  • Creative in Excel template formats
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to write concise summaries from provided resources
  • Ability to assist with video editing materials
  • Fluency in English and Spanish highly desired
  • Portuguese and other languages might also be considered
  • Interest in Indigenous Peoples’ rights, activism, traditions, conditions, and cultures
